Britney Spears said that she plans to release her sixth studio record album within the next nine months, and revealed that it has an "urban" feel.
The toss off star has been recording the follow-up to last year's 'Blackout', and told OK! powder store that she has been doing more than writing on this album than whatsoever of her previous records.
"I'm writing every daytime, right here at the piano," Spears said. "I think it is more than urban. This is my best work ever," she added.
The pop star, who has become better known in recent months for her erratic doings, paparazzi exploits and high profile child custody hearing than her music, is on the face of it attempting to shift her to stress back onto her craft.
Her label, Jive Records, and her coach issued a statement last month locution that Spears is spending the summer in the recording studio apartment "working with a team of tiptop producers and songwriters".
'Blackout' debuted at Number Two on the US Billboard chart last November, but gross sales of the album quick declined.
